In order to receive a confirmation e-mail, all Tour members should make sure that either meijerjuniorplayerstour@bluegolf.com or adamsgolfjuniortour@bluegolf.com is included in your address book. 

1.        When does the new season open?

November 1, 2015 marks the opening of the new 2016 season. 

2.        Are the entry and membership fees payable at the time of renewal/registration?

Yes, once you click register your credit card will be billed.  Unless you have been put on a waiting list.   

3.        When will I know which tournaments I am confirmed in?

All confirmations will be e-mailed to the tour member shortly after he/she has registered through our website.

4.         Is there a deadline for tournaments?

Yes, events will close 5 days prior to tournament registration if there are available openings.

5.        How many events will I be able to choose?

         There is no limit to the number of events selected.

6.        When will I pick my regular season events?

Once you register through our website, you will be emailed an id and password.  You then can login to your account, take the rules quiz and upon passing you may  register for the tournaments.

7.       How do I graduate to the Callaway Junior Tour from the Meijer Junior Players Tour?

The Callaway Junior Tour is now open to all players between the ages 15-19.  If you are 15 years of age you have the option of playing in either the CJT or the MJPT.  Please be advised the CJT is for accomplished players who have had previous tournament competition.

8.   Can I move up a division and play with older players and longer yardages.

Yes, we do allow players to move up a division.  However, G.O.L.F. reservse the right to adjust your division if your ability does not match the competition.

9.   What if I’m already registered and forgot my password?

 If you cannot remember your password, click the “Forgot your password?” link on the sign up screen.  You can either enter your Member Id and your password will be sent to your registered email address, or if you can not remember your Member Id, enter your registered email address and your Id and password will be sent to you.

11.   How do I know your site is secure?

At the G.O.L.F., our registration service provider (BlueGolf) ensures the integrity of every order by using Verisign, an Internet leader in security transactions.  Plus, with BlueGolf's advanced encryption, firewall technology, and state-of-the-art SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, you can be assured that your information will be protected from unauthorized use.  More......


             How to check for a secure site

The G.O.L.F. site uses frames so the security lock icon is not displayed in the bottom right of your browser window and the secure page URL is not displayed in the address bar.  However, you can see the lock and actual page URL.  Once you have selected either, "sign up now", "register", or  "become a member" right mouse click  and select - FRAME - OPEN A NEW WINDOW.  If you would like further information please call the Tour Office.

12.        How do I make a change in my tournament schedule?

All changes may be made through our website, please see the link "withdraw/transfer" form.   If you need to make a change from an event before June 1st, a $5.00 amount will be charged for any changes or withdraws. All requested refunds after May 31st will be subject to a $20 service charge.  Refunds will not be available for requests made within 1 week of the event.

Please note changes will not be made over the phone!

13.        What is the Premium Players Club?

          Premium Players club is an additional option available to players for a small fee.  The Premium Players club allows players to keep in depth statistics from an infinite number of rounds, and use them to improve the quality of their game.  You can join the Premium Players Club by clicking on the logo on the login page.

14.        Is the Premium Players Club really worth it?

15.        When will I get my tee-time? 

      Tee-times will be available only on our website, www.juniorgolf.org & will be posted approximately 5 days prior to the event.


16.        How may I receive a scholarship application for my high school senior?


All seniors who will be graduating in the spring and attending a higher level of education may request an application by emailing our calling our Tour Headquarters.   Applications are available on January 1 and due back by June 1. 



17.        Are caddies allowed?


No. All players must carry their own bags. Pull carts may be used and are the responsibility of the competitor.


18.   May I follow my child on the golf course?


Yes. However, spectators may not communicate with players while on the golf course. Spectators must remain 30 yards from players at all times until scorecard is signed.


19.   May spectators rent golf carts?


No, unless a valid handicap placard is provided in the following manner:  The following guidelines will apply.

  • the individual must provide G.O.L.F. with documentaiton (license sticker, placard) pertaining to their permanent handicap.
  • cart rental is based entirely on the golf course policy where the particular event is being held
  • each individual is limited to cart rental to 2 times per season
  • the individual must request the cart one week prior to the event date in written form (E-Mail, Fax, Mail).  The request must include a photocopy of the handicap license/placard.

Please note that only 3 carts are available per event to be rented, therefore it is important to get your requests in as early as possible.  By not following these guidelines, spectator carts will not be issued.


20.     Are events ever cancelled due to inclement weather?


We do NOT cancel events due to rain. Please show up for your tee time, as we always play unless the Tour Commissioner and Tour Staff deem the conditions unplayable.

21.   Are volunteers needed?

We can always use volunteers for scorekeeping, spotting golf balls, or to shuttle players between long walks. Please see the registration table if you would like to help.
